Position Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will develop and execute social media strategies aligned with our brand's marketing goals. This role requires you to stay ahead of emerging trends, create compelling content, and engage proactively with our audience. You will work alongside the marketing and product development teams to ensure that our message resonates with customers and strengthens our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Create engaging, on-brand content across a variety of channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Public Relations, Product Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure messaging consistency.
- Assist in the creation of social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and performance analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging platforms to keep Amazon at the forefront of the digital marketing landscape.
- Respond to customer inquiries on social media in a timely and engaging manner, maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Manage and mentor junior social media personnel, fostering a culture of creativity and learning within our team.
- Work closely with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance our outreach and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a high-traffic or ecommerce environment.
- Proficient in social media analytics tools and reporting, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of various social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and SEO best practices.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovative content creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
